Site visitors
Based on the above, you will see that the most significant increase has been in the number of visitors to the site. My success in this regard I can attribute to making relevant and insightful comments on various blogs, sites and forums, as opposed to what a lot of people do: spamming a forum with their links without really making a contribution to the discussion at hand.

Surprisingly, I would discount the influence of Facebook and Youtube, since I’m hardly active on Facebook and not even registered with Youtube. Twitter I’ve only recently joined as you can see from an earlier blog post, and I’ve not even made a tweet yet!

I’m sure though that these sites and social networking sites in general, have plenty to offer, by way of generating traffic and driving it to your site, the idea is to show that there are plenty other ways of achieving the same!

Page views
The increase in page views is a logical outcome of the increase in site visitors. I’m almost sorry I downloaded the stats today, instead of waiting for another week – I would’ve definitely achieved another target…only 50 views away!

Blog Rank
I’m very pleased with the blog rank movement in both Africa (up 691 positions) and South Africa (up 548 positions). I’m well on my way of achieving year end target of being among the top 3000 and 2000 blogs. I’m mighty proud of myself and am not shy to take the credit…LOL.

I achieved this in the space of 2 months in my spare time (which there isn’t much of) and didn’t pay a single cent to help me along, instead my increased activity and change in strategy increased my earnings gained from ‘online activity’.

  1. Hey Vendgalaxy

Congrats! Thanx for the socialpress invite.
Which PTC / PTR programs do you recommend in SA that are paying and have a decent income potential. With PaidForEmails I have had R24 worth of clicks in about 24 days.

Am having just under 2000 visitors a month to my blog and whould like to get it up. Which forums / blogs have you found that are great for leaving comments?

Have you checked out the Dynamic Travel Network mlm biz opp on my blog.

    Cheers
    BJ

  2. Hi BJ, the only 2 sites from which i've been paid, Easyclix & the sister site Easybux have both folded. At least I managed to make a few hundred from them. Another site, 'Fingermoney' held lots of promise, but closed down (i think it became a bit overwhelming for the owner) just before i could get a payout - don't know though if i would've been paid!

Another local PTC site, 'Central Services' is useless: there is no response to questions and there are only two (of the same ads) to click. It would've taken forever to reach payout. Besides it has a rather outdated and old fashioned and UGLY layout - not conducive to attracting 'clickers'.

A more user friendly and trendy layout is on vaalonline, but here again, there is only 4 ads if you're a standard member. I think this PTC is not gonna last too long....bought some refs two months ago and still haven't received them. Personally spoken to the owner who promised to look into it...but no joy yet! I see you've actually registered here, so i'd suggest you not upgrade or buy anything there.

I just don't understand the local PTC owners: here we are wanting to be good patriotic citizen by trying to promote them and invest in their business, but they just keeping failing us...boggles the mind!!!

    I digress..

On the question of good forums: i've received plenty referrals and traffic from the site: www.ideate.co.za, and i'm not even very active there!

  3. Have you received payment from 'PaidForEmail' yet? I'll get the link from your blog and check it out - are they local? In future, sommer post the link on my blog, if there's anyone else interested, who visit my blog, you might even get a referral or two.....i don't mind at all!

I'll also have a look at the mlm bizopp you mentioned!
