Battle against scam site WON!

A few posts back i spoke about the scam site Cool-traffic.com (which turned out to be not so cool, and actually got few people rather HOT under the collar...LOL), well...i got my money back via a refund from the pay-processor. So if ever you've been scammed, don't just give up when they don't respond to your emails/calls, etc...take it up with the pay-processor, because at the end of the day...their name is also going to be dragged through the mud!!

Lesson learnt!!!

PTC vs TE's: Surprising trend!

I've noticed a surprising trend away from PTC's towards TE's i.e. Traffic Exchanges for the newbies. However when looking more closely, perhaps it is not so surprising at all...actually!

PTC's was originally seen as an easy, free and user friendly means to make money and was a boon to advertisers and marketers alike; offering cheap advertising and a receptive audience eager to get 'paid to click'. The industry experienced unprecedented growth, but with that also came the negatives........get-rich-quick schemes and scammers, which i imagine was further fuelled by an over-optimistic click crowd, who included many cheaters amongst them. The reputation of PTC suffered tremendously in the process! What happens in times of turmoil? Put differently.....the loss of one is the gain of another.....enter TE's.

A traffic exchange very simply put is precisely what its name suggest, i advertise my site for free, in return, i click, providing 'traffic' or a 'visit' to some other advertiser! It's a win-win situation - depending on your ability to market effectively and exploit the system - it can give some an unfair advantage. The advantage of TE's over PTC's is that nowadays, you can get both credits and cash for surfing, hence the one-up over PTC's,, plus the added bonus of payment for and from referrals.....and this without having to pay a cent ....IF YOU GO ABOUT IT PROPERLY.....and with a bit of patience.

I've been fortunate in not having paid a cent of investment for 80% of the programmes i promoted, when i did invest, in an upgrade or buying of refs, it is AFTER, i've reached minimum payout level and as such minimised the risk, by basically using their own money to invest! Apart from the cases such as Bux.to that turned out to be such a disappointment and still owe me a few hundred dollars, my experiences have been largely positive.

Drop me a post on whether you agree or not!

Blog design changes gain momentum!!!

I've added the following pages to my blog: Get Paid To Do, Scam Updates; Affilliates; Surveys and Downloads pages.

The idea is to make it more user friendly. by making the navigation easier. So instead of having to scroll down one long list of posts, A quick click on the appropriate tab will get you where you wanto to be. I've left the 'global' template layout for the side bars the same though...will evaluate as i go along....or if comments and suggestions from site surfers warant it!

All that's left to do now is to populate it!!

New Year.....new blog design coming soon!

Yep, i think it's by time i revive the old war horse! Had an extremely succesfull 'blog year': added some more followers; blog rank jumped through the roof; got a few comments and even a few sign-ups to the affilliate programmes i'm promoting! For some it may not seem a big deal, but for me it's HUGE!

The main purpose for starting this blog in the first place, has always been to inform the unsuspecting public of the huge amount of SCAMS permeating cyberspace; secondly to provide proven, well established and affordable alternatives and thirdly to serve as a relief outlet for my creative juices which threaten to explode every now and then (Big LOL)! Actually it provides a way to constructively use all the free minutes i have at my disposal (smaller LOL) - a kind of hobby i suppose - while at the same time giving me the bonus of supplementing my meagre income (no LOL)!!

So the new blog layout and design will attempt to capture the essence of the reasons for the existence for the blog in the first place!!

Comments and ideas are welcome......

Neodollar is a scam site!

Neodollar is a site that has exactly the same layout, colors as the much trusted and well liked PTC site Neobux. The most obvious feature pointing to SCAM is them paying $1 per click which is definitely not sustainable. The industry average is 1 - 2c per click and 5c in exceptional cases. Below are two PTC sites you can visit for a more detailed review of this scam site!

Scam - NeoDollar
